A weak low-pressure system is affecting the area, bringing occasional strong winds and isolated showers.
Today and tomorrow
The Windward Coast will experience periodic strengthening of winds. Skies will see locally increased cloud cover, with a chance of isolated showers this afternoon, mainly in the west and north, and possibly later in the east. Winds will begin as light and variable at 3 Beaufort, gradually shifting to southwest to northwest, reaching 3 to 4 Beaufort. On the Windward Coast, winds may temporarily strengthen to 5 Beaufort. The sea will start calm but become slightly turbulent, particularly in the west and north by late afternoon.
Temperatures are expected to reach 32°C inland, 29°C on the west coast, 30°C on other coasts, and 24°C in higher mountain areas.
Tonight
Skies will be partly cloudy with possible isolated showers in the west and north. Winds will remain southwest to northwest, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and may briefly reach 5 Beaufort on the Windward Coast. The sea in the south and east will be slightly turbulent, while the west and north may become turbulent. Overnight temperatures will drop to 17°C inland, 19°C on the coast, and 14°C in higher mountain areas.
Tuesday
Locally increased clouds will persist, with isolated showers likely in the morning in the west and north, and later in the Highlands and southeast.
Wednesday and Thursday
Mostly clear weather is expected across the island, with isolated afternoon showers, primarily in mountainous areas. Temperatures will drop slightly on Tuesday, particularly in the interior and Highlands, and will remain near or slightly below seasonal averages through Thursday.
