A seasonal low-pressure system has decided to make an appearance, and it brought a friend: very strong northerly winds later tonight. Yes, the kind that makes you question every outdoor plan you had.
Today: Skies will mostly behave themselves, though the northern regions might see some clouds wandering around early, like tourists at the wrong beach. Winds start north to northeast, moderately opinionated at 4-5 Beaufort, then gradually mellow into northeast to southeast at 3-4 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough to rough, rougher up north and east, so maybe don’t trust your inflatable donut. Temperatures: around 30°C inland and on the eastern coasts, a toasty 33°C on other coasts, and a merciful 21°C in the higher mountains.
Tonight: Clear skies continue, though the winds will now switch to northwest to northeast, chill but still capable of messing up hairstyles at 3–4 Beaufort. The sea will stay slightly rough to rough in some areas—basically, don’t leave your shoes unattended on the shore.
Saturday, Sunday & Monday: Repeat after me: mostly clear skies. Temperatures are on a slow but steady rise, climbing slightly above the seasonal average by Monday. Sun lovers rejoice. Everyone else, invest in a wide-brim hat.
