A video spreading on social media shows a white car traveling the wrong way on a highway just outside Limassol.

Captured from another vehicle, the footage, dated Tuesday, October 7, 2025, shows the car heading directly into oncoming traffic. The driver appears to hug the guardrails in an effort to avoid collisions.

The clip was shared in the Facebook group “CY Police Checkpoints” and has drawn widespread attention and alarm online.
