Nicosia, 16 May 2025. Wizz Air, EMEA’s most environmentally sustainable airline , celebrates its birthday with an unmissable promo. From today to May 18, passengers can book over 1 million seats priced under €20.99 for travel through March 28, 2026. The tickets are already available on Wizz Air’s website and through the official WIZZ app. The offer is valid until May 18, and promotional seats are limited.
With a network of over 800 routes, serving nearly 200 destinations across more than 50 countries, the airline is celebrating its milestone with a campaign that reflects its long-standing commitment to delivering accessible, personalized, and value-driven travel experiences.
Since its first flight in 2004 from Katowice to London Luton, Wizz Air has carried over 437.7 million passengers, supported by 33 bases in 16 countries, a young and efficient fleet of 232 Airbus aircraft (66% with neo technology), and an average aircraft age of just 4.66 years, one of the youngest in the industry.
This promo also reflects the airline’s Customer First Compass initiative, which guides every aspect of the passenger journey through four key pillars: product, price, service and communication. With more than 30 routes to and from 17 countries, Wizz Air continues to strengthen its presence across the country. In 2024 alone, the airline has operated over 11 thousand flights to/from Larnaca and has carried 2 million passengers. The Summer 2025 schedule includes an expanded range of destinations and frequencies, making it easier than ever for passengers to explore Europe and beyond at low fares.
