A woman in Limassol has filed a complaint against her spiritual advisor, alleging he persuaded her to hand over €150,000, claiming he was facing serious financial difficulties.
According to reports, the woman also transferred a valuable apartment to a relative of the priest. Authorities from the Limassol Criminal Investigations Department (TAE) are investigating the allegations, but no arrests have been made so far.
The Limassol Metropolis has also been informed of the complaint and is handling the matter within its own ecclesiastical framework. The case remains under active investigation.
