Wizz Air, Europe’s most environmentally sustainable airline, is pleased to announce two dedicated Open Day events for pilots and aspiring pilots and first officers in Cyprus this September. Both sessions will take place at the Best Western Plus Larco Hotel in Larnaca on Wednesday, 25 September 2025.
Open Day for Pilots
Location: Best Western Plus Larco Hotel, 10 Pontou Street, Larnaca, 6301 Cyprus

This session is designed for experienced captains and first officers, as well as pilots with cadet-level experience or those currently pursuing pilot studies who will soon qualify to join as licensed pilots.
Open Day for Wizz Air Pilot Academy

The second session will focus on the Wizz Air Pilot Academy, offering aspiring aviators and students pursuing pilot studies the chance to learn more about the airline’s training opportunities and career paths towards becoming a pilot with Wizz Air.
Candidates that are interested can register for either event via the following link: https://forms.office.com/e/36wnF8AEmY. During registration, attendees will be able to select the specific session they wish to join.
In a recent interview in Cyprus, Wizz Air pilot Oana Mocan encouraged young women to pursue their aviation dreams without hesitation, noting that while the industry is still male-dominated, opportunities are growing.
