Supermarket employee suffers head trauma after falling from a hydraulic lift in Limassol


A woman is in critical condition after falling from a hydraulic lift at a supermarket warehouse in Limassol.

According to Kathimerini Cyprus, the 46-year-old woman was working at the warehouse on Tuesday morning when she lost her balance and fell from a lift some three metres high.

The woman was initially rushed to the Emergency Room at Limassol General Hospital, while the circumstances surrounding the fall were not immediately made known.

Doctors who assessed the woman’s injuries, including head trauma, determined that she needed to be transferred to Nicosia General Hospital, citing her critical condition.

She was later admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at Nicosia General.
