A 63-year-old worker was injured after falling from the first floor of a primary school in the Nicosia district while carrying out construction-related duties on Thursday morning.
The accident occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. when the man reportedly lost his footing and fell from the building.
Emergency services responded to the scene and transported him by ambulance to Nicosia General Hospital for medical treatment. Authorities said his condition is stable and that he is not facing any immediate danger.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the workplace accident has been assigned to the Department of Labour Inspection.
