All 2,465 lab tests conducted on Wednesday to test samples for coronavirus came back negative, the Cyprus health ministry announced.
Total cases recorded since the virus broke out on the island remained at 1,040.
Samples were collected in the framework of several programmes targeting specific groups, with183 samples collected from people falling under special health groups, 1,407 from passengers arriving at Cyprus airports, 217 from service sector employees, 102 from contacts of other known cases, and 201 from new army recruits. An additional 261 people took the initiative to get tested for the virus.
