Good news for travelers and locals alike: Aegean Airlines is returning to Paphos this summer, reconnecting the city with Athens and expanding its presence in Cyprus.
The announcement came Wednesday, Feb. 11, during a meeting in Paphos between the president and executives of ETAP and representatives from Aegean Cyprus. The talks focused on the airline’s decision to restart flights and explore joint promotions to make sure everyone knows the new route is open for business.
Starting July 3, 2026, Paphos will have three weekly flights to Athens, opening the door not just to Greece but also to Aegean’s wider network, which connects to key tourism markets like Germany and Northern Europe. The move is expected to make travel to and from Paphos easier for both tourists and locals, giving a boost to the city’s airport and tourism sector.
ETAP welcomed the announcement and expressed hope that Aegean will further expand its operations at Paphos International Airport in the near future.
For anyone planning a summer getaway, it looks like Paphos is about to get a little more connected and a lot more convenient.
