PwC: Online discussion on coronavirus’ impact on local businesses

The challenging and unprecedented conditions that we are experiencing, as a result of the spread of the COVID-19 virus, have brought many challenges for businesses, the economy but also society as a whole. True to its commitment to build trust in society and support local businesses, PwC Cyprus organised a recorded online discussion on how local businesses can deal with the impact of COVID-19, which is available on the organisation’s website.

The webcast was joined by Advisory Partner, Mr Philippos Soseilos, as well as Advisory Partner & In Charge of Banking Industry,Mr Vassilios Vrachimis and Tax Advisory Services Director, Mrs Martha Lambrou.

The discussion focused on evaluating possible liquidity pools and the role of banks, the package of fiscal measures announced by the state to boost liquidity and secure jobs as well as on specific business issues related to people, technology, organisation systems and crisis management.
