At Lidl Cyprus we take our interaction with people and the environment seriously; This is why the new digital initiative #LidlEcoHacks was created and is being added within the framework of the #ProjectZero actions.
The #LidlEcoHacks initiative is part Lidl Cyprus' broader strategy actions and with regards to the protection of the environment. Lidl Eco Hacks deals with issues such as food waste, zero waste, reuse and processing of old, raw and other materials, with the aim of reducing our individual environmental footprint for a more sustainable daily life.
An event held in the garden of the Gardens of the Future in Nicosia and was attended by the actor’s of Lidl Cyprus’ new campaign and representatives of the media who were informed about Lidl Cyprus’ new initiative and watched the first episode of the campaign.
Within the framework of this new campaign, Lidl Cyprus will create a series of episodes by Cypriot ambassadors with daily, easy life hacks that will be captured in a series of small social media videos.
In the first episode which was aired at the event, Natasa Christou, architect, zero-waste advocate and co-founder of the Gardens of the Future collective, presented how ecological, organic compost is made in our home and garden.
In Lidl Eco Hacks’ next episodes, other local creators, such as chef Maria Markitani, radio producer Phaedra Sarikaki, the MakeArt Designs team, dietician Hara Odysseos, radio producer and actress Elena Olympiou, as well as fashion designer Zoi Filipou, will present other useful tips for a more eco-friendly, everyday life.
