The Cyprus Organization for Agricultural Payments (KOAP) has finalized payments totaling €229,359.60 to wine producers under the EPSA 1a intervention of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) Strategic Plan for 2023–2027, covering the 2025 financial year.
The funding, provided entirely through the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund, aims to assist vineyard growers in improving management practices. Specifically, the support is designated for the installation of trellis systems, which enhance cultivation techniques and productivity in wine-producing vineyards.
KOAP emphasized that this program is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the agricultural sector in Cyprus through targeted EU-backed initiatives.
