Before you expiate, celebrate! Here are just some things you can do this weekend to celebrate Green Monday. Of course, you can go traditional by flying a kite ahead of a picnic, but you can also make the most of the weekend by dressing up and joining one of the many carnival parties in Limassol. Either way, it's sure to be a fun long weekend. Here are just a few of the fun things you can do.

"Premier 4" by the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra at the Rialto
The excellent conductor Alexander Vitlin joins forces with the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra to present the premiere of works by two contemporary composers: Dobrinka Tabakova and Robert Hovanesyan, as well as works by Igor Stravinsky and Moritz Moszkowski.
The Cypriot premiere will present the emotionally charged Concerto for cello and strings of the award-winning composer Dobrinka Tabakova, while the "Carpe Diem" - Concerto for oboe and strings of our violinist and composer Robert Hovanesyan will be presented for the first time. The middle movement of the concerto was written in memory of Krasen Penev, violinist of our orchestra, whom we lost a year ago. The young soprano Katerina Savva and the pianist Ivelina Ruseva invite you to a musical tribute to the Italian Opera, at the Markideio Theater of Paphos.
After their first presentation as a duet six years ago at Technopolis 20, Katerina and Ivelina return for a beautiful musical journey to the Italian Opera. The young and talented soprano, a graduate of the Mozarteum University Salzburg and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, together with the experienced pianist Ivelina from Bulgaria, will present a program which will include pieces from Italian Opera written by A.
