The Municipality of Strovolos and the Strovolos Open School, in collaboration with CARDET and the Institute of Development—N. Charalambous, are bringing back the Happiness & Well-Being Fair for a second consecutive year! The event will take place on Saturday, May 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in the courtyard of the Strovolos Town Hall.
Following last year's enthusiastic turnout, this year’s fair returns with a fresh lineup of activities designed to highlight the importance of investing in happiness, mental health, and overall well-being—both on a personal and community level.
The event offers a rich, interactive program for all ages, promoting well-being through fun, learning, and hands-on experiences. Highlights include:
- Activities inspired by Positive Psychology
- Creative art workshops and interactive games
- Performances by Strovolos Open School students
- Storytime and theatrical acts
- A wellness seminar focused on mental and physical health
- Face painting, info booths, and many more surprises!

The Happiness & Well-Being Fair is held in celebration of International Day of Happiness (March 20), reminding us that happiness is a fundamental human right and a powerful force for solidarity, sustainable development, and collective prosperity.
