Light winds and fluctuating temperatures in focus

What to expect in the coming days

Newsroom

Expect a mix of weather conditions today as a weak low-pressure system influences the area. In the western half, the day kicks off with partly cloudy skies and isolated showers. As the day progresses, watch for locally increasing clouds, bringing isolated rain in the southeast.

Winds will vary from southwest to northwest, maintaining a light to moderate speed of 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will present a rough to slightly choppy surface.

Temperatures will reach around 22 degrees inland, 21 degrees on the west and southwest coasts, 23 degrees on the north coast, and 13 degrees in the higher mountains.

Heading into tonight, expect partly cloudy skies with isolated showers in the west and north. Winds will persist from the southwest to northwest, lightening to 3 Beaufort inland and on the coast, with a slightly choppy to rough sea.

Temperatures will drop to around 8 degrees inland, 11 degrees in the southeast, east, and north coasts, 14 degrees on the rest of the coast, and 4 degrees in the higher mountains.

Looking ahead to Thursday, anticipate locally increasing clouds in the evening, bringing isolated rain primarily in the west. Temperature-wise, conditions will hover around average climatological values.

Friday follows a similar pattern with locally increasing clouds and isolated rain, mainly in the west. Again, temperatures are expected to remain around average climatological values.

As we move into Saturday, the weather will be characterized by mostly cloudy skies with moderate to high clouds. Temperatures are forecasted to stay within the range of above-average climatological values. Stay weather-aware as conditions evolve across the region.
