Gastronomos Cyprus is honoring the people of Limassol's fire-stricken villages and supporting their recovery and renewal.
On Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., the village of Vouni will host the 1st Gastronomos Festival, a major celebration dedicated to the Cypriot countryside, local producers, small businesses, and the communities that continue to create, grow, and keep their villages alive.
Set in the heart of an area affected by last year's devastating wildfires, the Gastronomos Festival aims to provide meaningful support to Limassol's mountain communities by showcasing the people, products, and businesses that form the backbone of the local economy.
Producers, artisans, small vendors, and creators from across the region will gather in Vouni to present their products and work to visitors. Guests will have the opportunity to meet local people, sample authentic flavors of Cyprus, and directly support local businesses and producers through their purchases.
The festival is part of a broader effort to strengthen the local economy, promote rural tourism, and highlight Limassol's mountain villages, while sending a message of optimism, resilience, and renewal.

The 1st Gastronomos Festival will take place following the 12th Gastronomos Quality Awards 2026 ceremony, an institution that for the past 12 years has celebrated quality, authenticity, and the people behind Cypriot gastronomy.
