A family holiday ended in tragedy when a three-year-old boy died after falling from the fourth floor of a hotel in Paphos. His father was later arrested as police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.
Like many families around the world, a young boy, his older sister, and their parents decided to travel to Paphos to enjoy a relaxing holiday by the Mediterranean Sea. However, their holiday took a tragic turn when last night, on the 12th of July, the three-year-old boy fell off the fourth floor of the hotel where they were staying, suffering fatal injuries.
The police were called to the scene at around 6:00 p.m. and immediately launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the boy’s accident.
Later in the day, at around 10:00 p.m., the police in Paphos arrested the 37-year-old father after issuing a warrant for his arrest. According to the police, he remains in custody for further questioning and to ensure that he does not interfere with any potential evidence.
The Paphos Criminal Investigation Department is continuing its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
