Authorities have taken a 31-year-old suspect into custody in relation to the murder of 49-year-old Stavros Demosthenous, who was killed on 17 October 2025 in Limassol.
The suspect is scheduled to appear in Limassol District Court on Sunday, 2 November, where the court will consider a detention request.
The case has already seen multiple arrests, with five individuals currently held by police. Additionally, two 28-year-olds, who were previously sought under a European arrest warrant and were apprehended last Thursday in Thessaloniki by the Hellenic Police, are expected to face the court within the next week.
