A body was found in the Paphos state forest on Thursday, prompting an investigation by the authorities.
The discovery was made by officials from the Forestry Department in an area known as Kallinikos, who alerted the relevant authorities.
Police and other officials attended the scene as investigations got underway. A forensic pathologist was also called in to examine the body and assist with efforts to establish the person's identity.
The body had not yet been identified at the time of reporting, while the circumstances surrounding the death remain under investigation.
