Aradippou has been left shaken by acts of vandalism that occurred on Sunday night behind the A’ Primary School, an area long regarded as a gathering point for families and local residents.
According to the Municipality of Aradippou, unknown individuals caused extensive damage to public property, setting fire to a bus stop and destroying festive decorations that had been installed with significant effort and care. What were meant to be symbols of celebration and community spirit were reduced to ashes within minutes.
Beyond the material damage, the incident has had a deep emotional impact on the local community, causing feelings of sadness and concern about safety in public spaces.
Following reports from citizens, police were immediately dispatched to the scene. Authorities are currently conducting investigations and collecting evidence. According to available information, police are close to identifying those responsible, with the aim of fully clarifying the case and holding the perpetrators accountable.
