Cablenet and COSMOTE TV kick off exclusive Cyprus Football League broadcast

Cypriot football soars across borders with COSMOTE TV collaboration


Cablenet and COSMOTE TV have announced their collaboration to exclusively broadcast the top matches of the Cyprus Football League in Greece. For the 2023-24 season, home matches of Cypriot football teams, including APOEL, Anorthosis, Pafos FC, and Karmiotissa, will be showcased live on COSMOTE Sport channels.

Deeitris Michalakis, the Executive Director of COSMOTE TV, expressed his enthusiasm for this partnership. Meanwhile, Cablenet CEO Yiannos Michaelides stated, "We are thrilled to embark on this significant partnership with COSMOTE TV.

Our goal is to cater to a broader audience, particularly addressing the longstanding demand of Cypriot viewers residing in Greece who wish to stay connected with their homeland teams."

The agreement between these two pay-TV platforms stipulates that one game from each matchday, as televised by Cablenet, will be selected by COSMOTE TV. Cablenet will be solely responsible for production and broadcast quality.
