Police were alerted in the early hours of the morning to a fire that had engulfed a vehicle in the village of Paramytha.
According to reports, the car, owned by a 26-year-old, was completely destroyed by the flames around 1:00 am. Police officers who arrived at the scene determined that the fire was likely started deliberately.
The scene was cordoned off as investigations got underway.
Police are investigating the incident.
