It's Friday, it's the Carnival weekend, and we're heading into a three-day holiday break with Green Monday coming up — so let's see if the weather is playing along!
Today, expect a little bit of everything — sun, clouds, rain, and even some hail if you're lucky enough to catch a storm! The skies will be partly cloudy, with showers popping up here and there, especially in the afternoon. Troodos will be showing off its winter wonderland side with fresh snowfall on the highest peaks — perfect if you're planning a quick snowy escape before dancing the night away at the Carnival!
Temperatures will reach 17°C inland, 18°C on the coast, and 7°C in the mountains — not exactly beach weather, but not too chilly either. The sea will be calm to slightly rough — so the only waves you'll need to worry about are the dance moves you'll be showing off at the parade!
Saturday & Sunday will bring a mix of sun and clouds, with a few scattered showers in the afternoon — nothing that should rain on your Carnival parade (fingers crossed!).
Green Monday looks a little cloudier, but the temperature will stay slightly above normal for this time of year — so grab your picnic baskets, kites, and maybe a light jacket for the traditional veggie feast out in nature.
Bottom line? The weather might be a little moody, but nothing's stopping this Carnival party!
