The Civil Defense called for helping hands to assist in putting up tents on Friday at the Kokkinotrimithia refugee camp, which has in recent days seen an influx of asylum seeker arrivals.
A text message distributed on Thursday said there is an urgent need for tents to be set up at the Pournara camp in Kokkinotrimithia, due to the heightened arrival of migrants in recent days.
Tents will be set up at Pournara camp on Friday, from 9am until later in the afternoon, with the Civil Defence asking for volunteer help.
