Temperatures vlimb as Cyprus enjoys mostly clear weather

The region is experiencing the effects of seasonal low pressure, resulting in clear skies today, with some local cloud development expected in the afternoon. Winds will initially be light and variable, at 3 Beaufort, shifting to southwest to northwest by the afternoon, reaching 3 to 4 Beaufort, and occasionally up to 5 Beaufort on the southern coast. The sea conditions will be slightly rough.

Daytime temperatures will reach 39 degrees Celsius in the interior, 33 degrees on the west coast, around 35 degrees on the remaining coastlines, and 28 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.

This evening will see mostly clear skies with winds primarily from the northwest, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will remain choppy to a little rough. Nighttime temperatures are expected to drop to 24 degrees inland and along the coast, and 18 degrees in the higher mountains.

The forecast for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday predicts predominantly clear weather. Temperatures will rise gradually, staying slightly above the seasonal average.
