Mild high pressure continues to affect the region.
Today, expect mostly cloudy skies with high clouds, while intervals of increased low clouds may appear locally. Light fog may linger in some areas during the early morning hours. Winds will blow northeasterly to southeasterly, turning west-northwesterly in some areas later, remaining light at 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will rise to around 21°C inland, on the south and east coasts; 22°C on the west coast; 23°C on the north coast; and around 14°C in higher mountainous regions.
Tonight, the weather will stay mostly cloudy with high clouds. Later, increased low cloudiness, light fog, or mist is likely to develop, particularly inland and in eastern areas. Winds will remain light at 3 Beaufort, and the sea will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will drop to around 9°C inland, 12°C along the coast, and 6°C in the higher mountains.
On Wednesday, expect partly cloudy skies, mainly with medium and high clouds.
On Thursdaay the weather will be mostly clear, though some areas, especially in the north and east, may experience brief showers due to increased cloudiness.
Friday, mainly clear skies, though by afternoon, clouds are expected to increase locally, especially in mountainous and southern areas. Temperatures will gradually decline, returning to seasonal averages.
