The 5th Cyprus Cocktail Festival is back, promising an exciting night of world-class entertainment, delicious cocktails, and lively music. Set for October 9, 2024, at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre, the festival will kick off at 18:00 with a spectacular performance by renowned DJs Tube & Berger.
Arndt Roerig and Marko Vidovic, better known as Tube & Berger, began their musical journey over a decade ago. Since then, this dynamic duo has made waves in the music industry with two acclaimed albums, numerous collaborations with well-known labels, and over 100 million streams on Spotify.
Tube & Berger first gained significant recognition in 2004 with their hit "Straight Ahead," featuring vocals from Chrissie Hynde. Their sound has evolved from punk beginnings to a blend of organic, emotive dance music that remains at the forefront of the modern dance scene. Their track "Imprint of Pleasure" is celebrated as one of Beatport’s top 20 bestsellers of all time, with over 40 million Spotify streams. Other notable hits include “E Samba 2018,” which topped the Beatport House Chart for six weeks, and their remix of Samim’s “Heater,” a global hit.
During the 2020-2021 lockdowns, Tube & Berger continued to innovate, collaborating with NERVO on "Lights Down Low" and working on upcoming releases, including a new track "Frozen" with Armaja. They also manage Kittball and ZEHN labels, which feature artists like Purple Disco Machine and Betoko. Their live performances, including frequent gigs in Ibiza and major festivals like Tomorrowland and Loveweek Festival, further cement their reputation in the dance music world.
In addition to Tube & Berger, the festival will feature DJs from the island's top radio station, Deejay Radio 93.5, with their line-up to be announced soon.
Presented by N-ice Pure Ice Cubes and sponsored by Three Cents Artisanal Beverages, the festival is supported by Visit Nicosia and Wiz Guide. Organized by Deejay Radio and Difford's Guide, as part of the Digital Agenda Cyprus Summit, the Cyprus Cocktail Festival aims to bring the city's vibrant energy and exceptional experiences together. It has been recognized as one of the "15 Best Cocktail Festivals in the World" by international guides.
