A dog was killed in an accident in rural Limassol on Tuesday, when a motorcycle struck the animal as it was crossing the street.

Local media said a 29-year-old male was riding his motorcycle on Tuesday evening in the Paramytha area, Limassol district, when he got involved in an accident around 7:20pm.

According to police officials, the local man was riding his motorcycle in a built-up area when a dog was attempting to cross the road.
