Welcome to another episode of "Cyprus Weather: The Never-Ending Roller Coaster." Just as we were getting used to the cool, fresh air, here comes the heat, and the dust, to remind us who's boss.
Today, the sun is taking center stage, but some high clouds will drift by just to keep things interesting. Winds will be playing it cool, coming in lightly from the southwest to northwest. The sea? Nothing too dramatic, just a gentle sway between calm and slightly rough. Temperatures will climb to 28 degrees inland, 24 on the coast, and a more manageable 20 in the mountains.
Tonight, the clouds will thicken, but don’t expect anything too exciting. The air will stay mild, with temperatures dipping to 12 degrees inland and in the mountains, and 14 along the coast.
And now, for the real twist, Thursday and Friday bring even more warmth, pushing temperatures well above seasonal norms. Oh, and let’s not forget the dust. It's making a grand return, with concentrations expected to rise, especially from Thursday. So if you were hoping for crisp, clean spring air, maybe try again next week.
But wait! A plot twist arrives on Saturday, when temperatures take a nosedive. Some clouds may even muster up the energy to squeeze out a bit of rain in the mountains. Could this be the long-awaited break from the heat? Don’t get too excited, it’s just another loop on the weather roller coaster. Hold on tight!
