An explosive device detonated early Friday, causing extensive damage to a 75-year-old man’s car parked outside his home in the Kamares area of Larnaca, authorities said.
Police said the explosion occurred around 1:50 a.m. No injuries were reported.
Officers from the Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department responded to the scene. An initial investigation determined that the device had been placed at the front of the vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing, and the case is being handled by Larnaca CID.
