In a tragic road collision that occurred around 8 p.m. last night in Larnaca, 25-year-old Marios Roditis, a resident of Larnaca, lost his life.
Specifically, a car driven by a 62-year-old on Spyros Kyprianou Avenue in Larnaca, heading towards Papanikoli Avenue, under conditions being investigated by the police, collided with the motorcycle driven by the unfortunate 25-year-old.
Roditis was transported by ambulance to Larnaca General Hospital, where the attending physician pronounced him dead, while examinations are underway to determine whether he was wearing a protective helmet.
The 62-year-old driver of the car was arrested under a court warrant and placed in custody to facilitate investigations into the circumstances of the accident.
Larnaca Traffic Police continue their investigations.
