A fire of unknown origin ignited on two small boats at Larnaca Marina around noon, according to local authorities. The police reported that the vessels, where the fire broke out, were promptly towed away from others in the marina to contain the blaze.
The Larnaca Fire Station swiftly responded with two firefighting vehicles to address the incident. Andreas Kettis, spokesperson for the Fire Service, confirmed the deployment in a statement on the X platform. Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries resulting from the fire.
