Cyprus filmmaker Stelana Kleri's movie ''Find Me Falling'' will mark a historic moment as the first Cypriot film to be featured on Netflix starting July 19.
Details about the local screening of the film will be announced soon.
"Find Me Falling" stars Harry Connick Jr. and Agni Scott. The storyline follows an old rock star's decision to move to a secluded house near a cliff on an idyllic Mediterranean island. However, his dream of keeping a low profile completely crumbles when an old flame reignites.
According to Kleri's own post and a Tudum by Netflix article, the film was shot in Cyprus, between Paphos and Nicosia. The majority of the cast and crew were also from Cyprus. It's a Cyprus-USA co-production, produced by Jupiter Peak Productions (USA) and Meraki Films (Cyprus), with the support of the Cyprus Ministry of Culture and the Cinema Advisory Committee (SEKIN).
"This is proof that Cyprus is capable of producing world-class films that resonate with an international audience, and that the world wants to hear our stories," highlighted Stelana Kleri.
