World-class artistry is coming to Paphos this spring, as the renowned Georgian National Ballet Sukhishvili takes the stage for two breathtaking performances. Organized by the Municipality of Paphos, the shows will be held at the Markideio Municipal Theatre on Sunday, March 23, at 4:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
With a proud 80-year history, the Georgian National Ballet Sukhishvili is celebrated worldwide for showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Georgia and the Caucasus. As the first professional dance company in Georgia, they continue to captivate audiences with their unique blend of traditional music, storytelling, and spectacular choreography.
This year, the group will bring around 50 performers—dancers and musicians—to Paphos, delivering a program brimming with passion, elegance, and the authentic spirit of Georgia. Audiences will be treated to dazzling Georgian dances featuring acrobatic movements, intricate costumes, and live music from a five-member orchestra playing traditional instruments.
The performances, directed by distinguished artists, promise to bring Georgia’s history, culture, and soul to life in an unforgettable way.
