A police officer on guard duty outside the home of the President of the Supreme Court was attacked with Molotov cocktails early Thursday morning.
The incident occurred around 12:45 a.m. when unknown assailants hurled a Molotov cocktail at the officer. The policeman sustained injuries to his face and arm and was taken to the 401 General Military Hospital for treatment.
The attack also damaged the police car stationed at the scene.
Authorities have initiated a manhunt to identify and apprehend the perpetrators responsible for the attack.
