Isolated showers and thunderstorms

Prepare for unstable weather ahead

Newsroom

Hold onto your umbrellas! Unpredictable weather patterns are on the horizon, with today's forecast featuring a mix of clouds and sunshine, along with scattered showers, primarily in the mountainous areas. But brace yourself, as the day progresses, expect the skies to darken with more clouds rolling in, bringing along local showers and sporadic thunderstorms. Keep an eye out for hail during these stormy spells.

Winds will be playing their part, predominantly blowing from the northeast to the southeast, starting off light to moderate, but gaining strength as the afternoon wears on, reaching up to a vigorous 5 on the Beaufort scale in some areas. The sea will mirror this turbulence, with a slight roughness expected.

Temperatures will vary across the region, peaking at a comfortable 24 degrees Celsius inland, around 22 degrees along the coast, and a cooler 12 degrees in the elevated terrains.

As night falls, the clouds will linger, accompanied by intermittent showers. Those in the west, south, and east should keep an eye out for isolated thunderstorms. Winds will maintain their vigor, keeping the atmosphere stirring, with the sea reflecting this restlessness. Temperatures will take a dip, dropping to 10 degrees Celsius inland, approximately 13 degrees along the coast, and a chilly 5 degrees in higher altitudes.

Looking ahead, Tuesday promises more of the same, with cloudy skies and occasional showers, followed by isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Wednesday and Thursday offer a mix of sun and clouds, with scattered showers and thunderstorms making an appearance from time to time.

While Tuesday's temperatures will stay steady, Wednesday and Thursday are forecasted to see a gradual rise, promising a weather rollercoaster ahead.
