Today, the weather will be partly cloudy and in some areas, mostly cloudy, with local rains or thunderstorms expected mainly in the west, south and mountains and later inland and in the east. Snow or sleet will fall on the highest peaks of Troodos. The winds will blow mainly southwesterly to northwesterly at 3 Beaufort, and locally up to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort. At noon and early afternoon in the south, there will be moderate to strong winds at 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly turbulent. The temperature will rise to around 18 degrees inland and on the south and east coasts. The rest of the coastal area will be around 17 degrees and the higher mountains will be colder at around 10 degrees.
Tonight, increasing clouds with isolated showers in the east and north, with light rain in the west. The winds will blow mainly northwest, initially weak at 3 Beaufort, moderately increasing to 4 Beaufort. The temperature will drop to around 7 degrees inland, around 9 on the coast and -1 degree in the higher mountains where frost will form.
On Saturday, increasing clouds are expected to give way to isolated showers. The temperature will not change significantly and will be close to averages at this time of year.
On Sunday, the weather will be mostly cloudy. And again, the temperature will not change significantly and will be close to averages at this time of year.
On Monday the weather will gradually become mostly cloudy and late in the afternoon we will see isolated showers in the west.
