A violent altercation involving several Syrian nationals broke out Saturday evening on Anexartisias Street, one of Limassol’s busiest areas, leaving one person injured.
According to authorities and reliable reports, the confrontation escalated into a physical fight, during which one individual reportedly used a sharp object, believed to be a knife. The victim sustained injuries consistent with a stabbing and was taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment. His current medical condition has not been disclosed.
Police investigators from the Limassol Criminal Investigation Department (CID) responded to the scene shortly after the incident and are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the clash. No further details have been released as the investigation remains ongoing.
