Larnaca's steamiest patrol yet caught on camera

Alleged romp in police car sparks social media meltdown and an official investigation into who was serving what, and to whom.

Just when you thought you’d seen it all, a viral video making the rounds on Cypriot social media appears to show two people getting intimately acquainted in the front seat of a police patrol car, and yes, it’s exactly as wild as it sounds.

The clip, which surfaced online, was shot by a passerby in Larnaca who did a double take, pulled out their phone, and hit record. The scene? A couple allegedly engaging in sexual acts in broad daylight, in a clearly marked police vehicle, parked out in the open for all to see. No tinted windows. No shame. Just pure chaos.

Cue the internet frenzy.

Within hours, the video had spread like wildfire, sparking disbelief, laughter, moral outrage, and, inevitably, memes. Lots of memes. Makes you wonder if this is a new form of “community policing.”

The Cyprus Police confirmed on Monday that an investigation is underway to get to the bottom (pun not intended) of what exactly happened and whether the video is genuine.

Officials haven’t said whether the people in the video are members of the force, impersonators, or just a couple of thrill-seekers with a flair for the dramatic. Either way, the public reaction has been swift, with many calling for accountability, while others are just trying to figure out how no one noticed a whole situation happening in a parked patrol car in broad daylight.
