Hatzigiannis emphasized the necessity of a fair tax system to maintain economic competitiveness and productivity. He stressed the need for fiscal neutrality in green taxation and called for a comprehensive savings program to address the state's wasteful spending habits.
Papadouris echoed Hatzigiannis' sentiments, criticizing the government for burdening consumers with additional taxes instead of fulfilling its obligations to meet environmental targets. He condemned the government's reliance on punitive fines and taxes and advocated for reduced VAT rates on solar batteries as a more favorable solution for citizens.
