Finding out whether a dangerous building is located nearby, checking where local services are available, or accessing planning information has become easier for Limassol residents thanks to a new online platform.
The WebGIS digital platform of the Limassol District Local Government Organisation (EOA Limassol) is now available to the public, offering quick access to important geographical information without the need to visit government offices.
Through the upgraded platform, citizens can view areas where dangerous buildings have been recorded, check the boundaries of water supply and sewerage areas, locate Green Points, find EOA Limassol buildings, and access useful property and urban planning information.
The organization said the new platform has been redesigned to be more modern and user-friendly, making it easier for residents, professionals, and anyone interested to find reliable information.
“This new environment is more modern, more user-friendly, and designed to facilitate access to information, enhancing transparency and serving citizens,” EOA Limassol said.
The platform is part of the organization's wider digital transformation efforts, with EOA Limassol stressing that improving online services remains a priority.
The aim, it said, is to provide citizens with “modern, reliable, and useful tools” that make everyday access to public information faster and easier.
