Mainly clear Monday with mild temps, rain on the horizon

Expect a brief warm spell today, followed by clouds and rain by mid-week

Newsroom

Good morning! Today, it looks like mild high pressure is giving us a break from any dramatic weather, so expect a mainly clear day. The winds will be light to moderate, blowing around 3 to 4 Beaufort, and will switch between northeast and southeast later in the day—just to keep things interesting. The sea? Slightly rough, but don’t worry, it’s nothing that will ruin your beach plans (unless you’re planning on surfing).

As for temperatures, we’re looking at a nice 20°C inland and along the coast, with the mountains cooling down to a crisp 12°C. Perfect weather for a stroll, if you ask me, unless you’re in the higher elevations, where you might want to bring a jacket for those mountain vibes.

Tonight, the weather will stay clear. Winds will remain light, from the north to northeast, and the sea will keep that slightly rough edge. The temperature will drop to a cool 6°C inland, 9°C by the coast, and 4°C in the mountains. So, if you're out and about tonight, you might want to layer up!

Looking ahead to Tuesday, expect some high clouds, nothing too dramatic—just a reminder that winter is still here. Wednesday brings the possibility of rain, with local showers and isolated storms expected, so don’t forget your umbrella (and maybe a floatie, just in case). Thursday will be much the same, with cloudy skies and more chances for rain and storms.

The good news? Temperatures won’t change too much today, but by mid-week, expect a significant drop, bringing us back to more typical winter conditions. So, enjoy today’s sunshine while it lasts!
