Police are searching for two people believed to have opened fire on a commercial building in Limassol’s Linopetra area late Wednesday night.
The suspects, who reportedly had their faces covered, approached the building on a motorcycle at around 10:50 p.m., fired several shots and quickly left the area.
Security camera footage is believed to have captured their movements and is now being examined by investigators.
The gunfire damaged the building’s main entrance, windows and exterior walls. Police confirmed damage to the glass entrance and a first-floor window.
Officers cordoned off the area shortly after the shooting and carried out examinations through the night. The scene remained under guard on Thursday morning.
The building reportedly houses a company linked to Ukrainian interests that operates in property and commercial development.
Police have not established a motive, and investigations by the Limassol Criminal Investigation Department are continuing.
