Monday temperatures set to climb as week progresses, bringing warmer days ahead

A weak high-pressure system is currently affecting the region.

Today, the weather will be mostly clear, though intervals of high cloud cover are expected. Winds will initially blow from the northwest to northeast at light to moderate strength, around 3 to 4 Beaufort, gradually shifting to mainly southwest to northwest. At times, winds may be locally strong, reaching 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough. Temperatures will rise to around 31°C inland, about 28°C on the southern and eastern coasts, 27°C on the western and northern coasts, and 22°C in higher mountainous areas.

Tonight, skies will remain mostly clear with some periods of high cloud cover. Winds will come from the northwest to northeast, light to locally moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will fall to around 15°C inland, 17°C along the coasts, and 12°C in the higher mountains.

From Tuesday through Thursday, the weather will stay mostly clear. Temperatures will gradually rise each day, reaching levels slightly above the average for this time of year by Thursday.
