A four-wheeled rental motorcycle plunged into the sea after falling from a 90-meter cliff in a road accident on Sunday at the Baths of Aphrodite. The incident occurred around 3:45 p.m. on a rural road between Fontana Amorosa and the Baths of Aphrodite.
According to Michalis Nikolaou, Assistant Police Director of Operations in Paphos, the 22-year-old driver lost control of the motorcycle, causing it to overturn and fall off the cliff. The vehicle landed in the sea while both the driver and a 24-year-old passenger were thrown onto the road.
Both individuals were transported to Polis Chrysochous Hospital and later to Paphos General Hospital's Accident and Emergency Department. They sustained abrasions and friction injuries but were treated and discharged. Both were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
