Nicosia is buzzing over a strange case: several cats went missing from a local supermarket last month, and police are now on the case.
The story began on Jan. 25, when a shopper noticed the cats had disappeared and filed a complaint. Security footage appears to show a woman setting cages outside the store, trapping a cat, and putting it in her car. Police have identified her, but questioning has been delayed because an interpreter isn’t available yet.
