Mental health support centers have opened at Souni Primary School and the Agios Therapon Community Council to assist residents affected by the wildfire in the mountainous region of Limassol.
Officials from the Mental Health Services Directorate of OKYPY began providing services Wednesday at both locations. The centers are open daily, including weekends, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Staff have already provided in-person and telephone support to several residents, according to the Cyprus News Agency.
Community notices state that the centers offer immediate, free mental health support to adults, older residents and families. No appointment is required.
