Health Minister Neophytos Charalambides stated that pathologists in Cyprus are maintaining high diagnostic standards by adopting up-to-date techniques, engaging with international professional networks, and committing to ongoing education across both public and private healthcare sectors.
Speaking at a scientific conference organized by the Cyprus Society of Pathological Anatomy, he explained that advances in digital tools and artificial intelligence are reshaping the field. These technologies allow for quicker and more precise diagnoses, and their adoption is already influencing medical practice in Cyprus.
Charalambides also stressed that pathological anatomy plays a crucial role in the country’s healthcare system. He described the conference as an important forum where specialists can share research findings, exchange expertise, and build stronger professional connections.
