A 32-year-old man in Nicosia died in an apparent drug overdose Thursday night

A 32-year-old man was found dead in his home Thursday night, after his friend notified authorities in an apparent drug-related death.
According to media reports, a 36-year-old male found called an ambulance Thursday evening after he found his friend unconscious in the bathroom. The 32-year-old, who lived in the residence, was found inside the bathtub and was taken to the Emergency Room where doctors on duty pronounced him dead on arrival.
Drug paraphernalia were also found next to the victim, according to reports, suggesting death by a drug overdose.
Police are carrying on an investigation while an autopsy is expected to point to the exact cause of death.
